Sketchbook Spread (technique vs idea)

For this week, the idea of conceptual ideation and the cooperating technical skills being melt together in a lesson planning to truly something to be pondered on. As a late starter, I often found myself lacking the technical skill to execute my vision. Thus, depending on conceptual ideation was like a lifeline for me back when I was in school. So, I believe that while technical skills / techniques are extremely necessary and must be developed, I hold strong belief that what matters more is the artist Vision. What they can see on a page, envision their work and having a taste, an idea of what they like is the part to be developed as soon as possible. Once a taste is established, I believe students can set that as their goal to pursue and push their technical skill to meet that ceiling that they have set.
