Adjective
For my project, I choose to tackle it by making a pair of glasses, inspired by when I started to take art seriously and practice looking for color combinations in my daily life. The goal was to create something that prevent me from seeing, but bombard the sensory with color nonetheless.
Material
With that in mind, my materials include mainly various types of soft steel, plastic straws and hot glue. The main thing I was looking for is accessibility and how easily manipulated the materials could be without a whole workshop or special tools.
Process
I started by twisting these soft steel strings into a comfortable shape that would fit me and pulled up references of glasses and learn their parts. I ran into a couple of issues such as how the frame can stay one, how the straw can be "stringed" together, how some parts of the soft steel wire were poking me in the face due to the sharpness, ... etc. Overall, I would say it was a humbling experience, given how I had never tried making a pair of glasses before. Though, it was really fun and exciting to be thinking critically about an everyday object like that to mimic it.

Reflection
One thing I really wished I had taken into account was how to push the overwhelming feeling of color once the glass is put on. I think a better snuffle of color or other elements like sparkling patches or small colorful plastic pieces would help achieve such goal.
